PVYmessenger

A truly secure and end-to-end encrypted messenger, which offers familiar features as known from Telegram, for families and private users for all platforms. In addition to telephony, video telephony and rich media messages, PVYmessenger runs on the PVY@Home, but through the PVY-ID allows a global Federate to communicate in the same manner with other participants no matter where they are, over it securely encrypted and censorship free, without the communication can be intercepted.

Group rooms can be kept private, by invitation only, or public, where any PVY user can create them, and any PVY user can join them as well. Supplemented with admin functions for public spaces where access needs to be confirmed.

Due to the decentralized architecture, coupled with a highly robust end-to-end  encryption, PVYmessenger is also compatible with PVYteams, where business users can also securely
chat with private end users within your PVYteams chat application directly "peer to peer" without any middleware in between, without any additional configuration effort.

If PVY users create a public space on their PVY@Home appliance or as a private customer of the private cloud offering "PVYessentials", this public space is open to all PVY-ID users to enter as a discussion or message channel, even when searching for a topic.

PVYmessenger thinks things through in terms of decentralization as well as utilization of a PVY@Home or PVY@Office appliance. If a public channel published by PVY@Home Appliance becomes popular within a short period of time, the user is free to push this channel from his private PVY@Home Appliance to an encrypted node in one of the PVY data centers so that his private appliance is not overloaded. Private group rooms, however, remain on the PVY@Home appliance.

Each user can decide independently whether, in addition to his PVY ID, he can also be
found via one or more e-mail addresses or telephone numbers. (like on Whatsapp/Telegram)
Thanks to end-to-end encryption, no messages can be read or decrypted on the
PVY@Home appliance. Ideal in case the box is lost unexpectedly.
